Has Your Business Credit Card Started Reporting To Your Personal Credit Report_

I’ve been hearing more and more about business cards showing up on personal credit reports. Historically, business cards have not been reported to personal reports. The thinking is that these are business expenses — tied to businesses. Still, often individuals will personally guarantee the debts incurred on these cards. When that’s the case, I can see why it might be appropriate to report business-card accounts on personal credit reports. I want to hear from my readers. Has your business card starting reporting to your personal credit report? If so, were you a personal guarantor on the application? A friend of mine — a personal guarantor — recently had his Discover business card report to his personal credit report. I think a lot of people are soon going to be in for a surprise — especially if they’ve got a boatload of debt sitting on these business cards.I know that Discover is not alone here. What other credit-card issuers are starting to report business cards to personal credit reports? Please chime in.
